CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR COMMUNITY PROJECT FUNDING
The Rotary Club of Monash Glen Waverley (RCMGW) and its associated entity the Monash Rotary Op Shop Inc welcome the receipt of applications from not-for-profit and community groups for funding of community projects.
CRITERIA
Priority will be given to an existing organisation or group delivering community service projects. Grants will be awarded at the discretion of the relevant RCMGW Service Committee.
Ideally, but not exclusively, the project should complement Rotary’s areas of focus:
Fighting disease
Supporting education
Growing local economies
Protecting the environment
Disaster response
Promoting peace
Funding is to be for a specific project activity or piece of equipment, but not for normal recurrent expenditure items. All projects should be completed within 12 months from receipt of the funding.
PROCESS
Application is via the Application for Community Project Funding form.
Providing funds are available, projects meeting the criteria will be approved subject to due diligence. Additional information may be sought.
Successful applicants may also be requested to present the results of the project to a RCMGW meeting.
RCMGW reserves the right to withhold funds if recipient organisations are not compliant with the conditions set out in the Funding Agreement.
